I know it's about time I sent a Postcard from Europe, but being more of a technology freak than a postcard writer, email is my tool of choice.
So, G'day from Europe!
Trees and I have been traveling around and having a great time. We haven't managed to visit all the people and places we would have liked, but we have done so much. It's amazing.
Now if you handn't heard already about our HUGE NEWS, here it is ....I got down on one knee and proposed to Trees about 2 days before we left for Europe. Ahh yes, it was very romantic.
Thankfully she said YES! (Would have been an awkward trip if she said no, but I hadn't thought that far ahead)
So we will have to have a big Party some time soon! Or a Wedding!
Anyway I will let her organise all that as I feel I did the hard part... the whole buying a ring, romantic dinner down on one knee.
So it's great news.
The happy couple... just about to get on the plane to LA.
We were treated to a new Mercedes with Sat Nav system and a house on the beach in Orange County LA when we arrived. Thanks Damon, Your a legend!!!
This was an amazing treat and I'm sure everyone cringed at the sight of our Mercedes packed to the top with Back Packs and kiteboarding gear.
But what a way to travel, I could get used to that and the fantastic Kiwi-American hospitality!
The photo above is taken at Huntington Pier, a World famous Surf break and somewhere i really enjoyed visiting.

The kiteboarding scene in the area was hard to track down with the lack of wind while we were there.
But it sounded quite relaxed and sea breezes arriving at 5pm sounded great. Next time for sure!
Of course the next stop was Europe and we have been traveling around the kiteboarding areas meeting designers, reps, business owners and kiters everywhere we can.
It is really hard work, but someone has to do it.
We also shot to Tarifa in Spain and it blew me away!... Yes I found a place in Europe I could live!
It's a Kiters paradise on the southern most tip of Europe. Stunning weather and a beautiful country.
Fantastic Kiteboarding conditions.
Even some Roman ruins for the more traditional tourist and staff photographer to enjoy.
So the trip is going well and we have spent a lot of time researching the business models that work in Europe.
Compared all the products and even noted some hot new stuff out there.
So it's a great trip.
