  |  ANABATIC KITE CAMP EASTER WEEKEND 2007 .......This Weekend! We are once again heading up to the 'Winterless North' to Doubtless bay, specifically the TOKERAU BEACH CAMP. It's the perfect spot for Kiteboarding and has earned an awesome reputation for reliable winds and great kiting. The drive north from Auckland takes approx 5hrs just cruising and taking breaks. The climate un the upper North Island that far North of Auckland is much warmer than here so it's still fine for camping. And the sea breeze still pushes in. You can treat yourself to luxury accomodation, hotels or backpackers if you need to. But 99% of people join in the camping fun and spirit of the weekend. So it's a relaxed gathering of friends who kite. And a great escape from the reality of the year of work ahead.
