With just two day to go before I fly to Europe via the USA thing are crazy busy for sure here at Anabatic and at home packing. Yes you read that right. We are off out of NZ for a bit of an adventure.
Our trip (Trees and I) takes us via the USA, LA to Belgium in Europe. Then off around the continent checking out the Kiteboarding scene, trying out new equipment and showing off the gear we ride. Ok that's my plan. I'm sure Trees made some other arrangements I'm supposed to remember. I'm sure she will remind me.
If you want to see me in the shop, I will be around both today and tomorrow (Saturday). Either in store or teaching at the beach depending on the weather. You never know I might cut a couple of hot deals before I fly out, so rock on out to the shop.
Yes we are taking our kites. - Of course!
Trees is taking her two Venom kites a 16m and 13m and I am taking my two new BEST kites, the 13m and 10m.
So between us we have a great selection of kites and boards to ride.
I would have liked to take a 7m with my for Spain, but hopefully if I need one I will find a friendly BEST rep in the area that I can bribe with beer.
All up we will be away for 7 weeks, massive eh!
That's the plan, it is pretty flexible but unlike my previous trips to Europe I actually have a ticket home too.
What is happening to the shop while I'm away! - Everyone keeps asking me that.
And for sure, I was tempted to just lock the door for 7 weeks. But instead it will be run on limited hours.

JESS will be looking after things like online orders, phone orders, kite repairs and running the shop one day a week (SATURDAY). He has been out kiting with his new Waroo 13m and loving it, so feel free to ask him all about them.
The FREE lessons are still available while I'm away for everone who purchases their equipment from us.
Mark Osbaldiston will be your instructor and providing training on Wednesdays & Weekends.
He is one of our top riders and you will have seen him featured on the new BUAROO kite promo video.
Mark O rides the BEST 2007 13m Waroo Pro model and a 2007 Waroo 9m. And is right into wake style riding.
